Precision tolerance simulation for your assembly
The assembly of a group of entire component groups is challenging, especially with CFRP components. We offer tolerance simulation as a service to the aviation industry which makes it possible to precisely plan, project, analyse and optimize assembly processes. Our 3D tolerance simulation is the basis for the highest process accuracy with minimal deformations. In addition, we can do 2D/3D supportive measurements, simulate manufacturing processes and process chains, and identify improvement potential based on measurement and simulation results. We have done tolerance simulations for the landing flaps of the A320 and A380, and the A320 rudder assembly concepts, among other things. Our tolerance simulation services are also useful for research and development. CTC offers assistance in setting up tolerance simulations taking into account non-linear deformations. Together with the customer we define input parameters and assist with increasing the performance of manufacturing testing, as well as analysis and validation of the results.
